What is MaXilin?
MaXilin, also sold as MaXilin SuperProbiotic, is a probiotic food supplement developed by EnergyMaxGroup. It comes as a powder in single-serve sachets that you dissolve in warm water. MaXilin is not a medicine and not an antibiotic. It is a food supplement intended to be used as part of a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
The formula is based on a live culture of acidophilic lactobacteria, documented as strain 2585-1666, combined with two further probiotic strains, prebiotic fibres, vitamins and minerals. MaXilin is lactose-free, GMO-free and made by natural fermentation, with a light vanilla flavouring.
What is inside each MaXilin sachet?
Each sachet provides a total of 20 billion CFU (colony-forming units) from three probiotic strains: Lactobacillus acidophilus at 15 billion CFU, Streptococcus thermophilus at 4 billion CFU and Lactobacillus helveticus at 1 billion CFU. The bacteria are supplied in lyophilised (freeze-dried) form.
Alongside the live cultures, every sachet contains two prebiotic fibres — resistant dextrin (1,108.4 mg) and inulin (406 mg) — which act as food for beneficial gut bacteria. It also contains vitamin C (90 mg), vitamins B1, B2, B3 and E, calcium and magnesium, plus vanilla powder (140 mg) as flavouring. Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system.
How do you take MaXilin?
For adults, the recommended intake is one sachet twice a day, usually morning and evening. Dissolve each sachet in 250 ml of warm water (about 36°C) and drink it around 30 minutes before a meal. Before taking it, drink a glass of warm water in small sips, and keep up a good water intake throughout the day. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.

How is MaXilin made, and what standards does it meet?
MaXilin is manufactured to HALAL, HACCP, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and ISO 22000 food-safety standards, and carries Eurasian Conformity (EAC) marking. Independent laboratory testing has been carried out by Almaty Technological University.

How should MaXilin be stored?
Keep MaXilin in a dry place, away from direct sunlight, at a temperature not exceeding +25°C. It does not need to be refrigerated. The shelf life is 2 years from the date of manufacture; always check the date printed on the box.
Is MaXilin the same as MaXilin antibiotics or Maxilac?
No. Several unrelated products share a similar name. In some countries “MaXilin” is a brand name for prescription antibiotics, such as a clarithromycin product or an amoxicillin and dicloxacillin combination. Those are medicines prescribed by a doctor and have nothing to do with MaXilin probiotic. Maxilac is a different synbiotic product from another manufacturer. There are also unrelated herbal drops sold under the MaXilin name.
